Around 1 hour away from Lille, between Béthune and the Opal Coast, the "Azur" ecolodge of the Vertes Collines & Ternois is located in Fiefs, in the middle of the countryside! You are in the heart of the Lys Valley. Want to discover the river’s source? It can be found in Lisbourg, right next door! Guaranteed relaxation in this gîte surrounded by nature for a weekend of trips including hiking, cycling and horseback riding, and a unique experience for one night (or more!) in an ecological cabin with a wooden frame on stilts. A very fun rental for relaxing during a short stay or atypical holidays!

Your accommodation:
The ecolodge is composed of a main room, a kitchenette, a bed of two people on the ground floor and a mezzanine, which allows the sleeping of four people. The cabins are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Sheets, blankets, pillowcases and towels are not provided (possibility to rent on site or online). The heating allows to enjoy pleasantly this accommodation system during the inter-season. The ecolodges are perfectly insulated, thanks to the 220mm of wood wool that gives them perfect insulation against cold and wind in winter, and a perfect heat insulation in summer! This insulation and heating system will allow you to enjoy your ecolodge during periods of extreme cold (-15 ° C).
A kitchenette with a two-burner hob and crockery for four people is also available. The sanitary block common to both ecolodges on the site is located nearby, on the other side of the terrace, in the old presbytery.
A picnic area (table and bench) and a barbecue are installed on the site at the disposal of residents of ecolodges. The cabins are accessible to people with reduced mobility and have a terrace.
The reservation:
The ecolodge is open for rent all year.
In practice
Your rental can extend up to 6 nights per booking and per person. This must be done at least 48 hours in advance on the website www.capsurlarivieredor.com to be validated.
- Arrival is between 16:00 and 20:00.
- The start must be effective before noon.
- You can contact the site manager, Mr. René Choquet, by phone at 06 22 68 79 98 to arrange the meeting time at the ecolodge located at 2, rue de Nédonchel (parking spaces nearby).
Mandatory
Upon arrival, a deposit of 72 € (check or cash) will be required. It will be returned at the end of the stay, if no material damage or other inconvenience is found.
An identity card (or a copy) is required in exchange for the keys of the cabin and the toilets. This will be refunded upon departure.
Regarding the insurance of this short-stay, you will be asked to justify the "holiday insurance" specified on your annual contract.
You are asked to make your ecolodge in the same state of cleanliness as you found it on arrival. In case of failure, an additional € 36 will be charged for the partial or total cleaning of your accommodation.
For hygiene, neighborhood and security, pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
A satisfaction questionnaire given when you arrive will be given to the manager when you leave.
The site and its surroundings:
The site
Fiefs welcomes you in its two ecolodges built in the village center, near the town hall, the church and the village cottage La Méridienne Verte (11 places).
Located in the heart of the heritage of the town, they offer a comfortable home and a sanitary space built in part of the church. They are the starting point for many discovery tours through the bucolic territory of the river Lys.
Activities
René Choquet, Greeter, will be happy to visit his town of 400 inhabitants of which he is the mayor. This small village nestled in the Ternois hills was completely rebuilt after the Second World War. It houses a church, an old V1 launching pad and an arboretum that are worth a visit.
To discover
The church of Fiefs was built in 1957. A cave was erected in 1950 on the site of the choir of the old church destroyed during the Second World War.
The former provost is now rehabilitated in "La Méridienne Verte". Indeed, the village of Fiefs is crossed by this imaginary line crossing France from north to south through Paris. The German V1 launch base of the Second World War was the cause of the destruction of the village and its heritage, because it was the focus of allied bombers in 1944. The circuit of Quevaussart, labeled FFRP, you will discover Fiefs and its surroundings through its 18 km between mountains and valleys.
Not far from there, the twisted steeple and the castle of the town of Verchin are worth seeing, as well as Lisbourg where you can discover the source of the Lys.

The set includes, for a bed:

- two pillowcases.

Two electric assistance bicycles (VAE) are rented on the site of Fiefs. Drive through the Green Hills for half a day or a day.

Greeters are residents of the Lys Valley who accompany tourists (6 people maximum) on a voluntary basis.
They show tourists the known and lesser-known corners of their town and tell « stories to live ». The Greeter's own story takes a central place in the storytelling tour.
Don't hesitate to book a walk with a greeter to immerse yourself in the local life and discover the surroundings in a unique way.

Logement très convenable et environnement très intéressant à découvrir. Il faudrait peut-être toutefois vérifier le fonctionnement des plaques électriques. On pourrait imaginer également quelques étagères ou quelques rangements supplémentaires.

Excellente découverte dans cet écolodge de Fiefs ! Nous étions 2 couples d'amis et avions chacun notre écolodge, c'était vraiment parfait ! Bien équipés pour se retrouver à l occasion d'une découverte du Pas de Calais à vélo. Les sanitaires communs aux 2 écolodges sont grands et propres. Nous reviendrons sans doute ! A bientot
