The EuroVelo 5 (or EV5)

For lovers of great cycling routes, there are the Eurovéloroutes, developed on a European scale. They locally take the form of cycle routes or greenways depending on the developments made by the communities.

A European itinerary on the banks of the Lys

The EuroVelo n°5 or EV5 called "Via Romea Francigena" and linking London to Brindisi in Italy, crosses our territory along the Lys river from Aire-sur-la-Lys to Saint-Venant (13 km), before descending towards Béthunois along the Canal d'Aire at La Bassée, from Hinges to Billy-Berclau (22 km).
